Hey Mark I blew up the photos of wild fire the only other markings on it was the class SS/AA witch I think meant super stock /Automatic there is no name on it the picture was dated March 1972 down at Acto

Whoever it was, he stole the name Wildfire from Mr. Ronnie Evans who was running a '62 Impala with the same name since '65. And BTW, his current Wildfire car just turned a 10.04 in heat.

Ronnie said that photo of his Wildfire '62 had to be '88, not '84. Car wasn't even done in '84. ALso asked him about the '62 sedan "Ditto" and he had no recollection of it. Verne ![]() |
