lol... no wonder I bring home so many "bad" T-3's! Thanks for the tip on "not" using a battery charger to test...wish I knew that about a half dozen T-3's ago.

Another good tip about the 9 volt battery... one more thing to carry to the swap meets. I like to keep several working originals stockpiled... they're out there, and often for pretty cheap, and I agree there ain't no substitute for real ones.
