The Grape Ape lives on!
That's a hard question to answer. If you know something, and you are public with it, you get burned. If you know something, and are discreet with it, you get burned. Ask me how I know this! (silver deuce(s) come to mind???)When a care with issues comes to market, the information you have will certainly polarize the parties - one guy will be grateful, the other will be hateful. I guess you have to take the high-road, discreetly inform, and live with the fallout. Those of us with some longevity in this hobby knew right away where this topic was going, and quite frankly didn't see the need to beat it up. If somebody knew who owned the restored car, somebody would nicely inform him. Until then... it's a waiting game to see what will happen.
