And now I say thank you to all on this site I have known through the years, and thanks for the memories. The main reason I am done with antique cars is because it possessed
my life. I worked two jobs to have a garage full of cars that 100 years from now nobody is going to care about, and they all are going to turn to rust no matter what we do. When you have a hobby that you spend most of your waking hours involved in, don't spend time with your family, and have to reach for a Elvis lifestyle to maintain this hobby,
Houston, we have a problem! This was my case. It was my mistake, not anyone else's. I want everyone to ponder this question - How many people do you know who have a 1907 carriage in thier garage? And another- If you get a spot of cancer on your lung or your brain is the cars you have more importaint than the time you have with loved ones? We all
know the answer. I am tired of the pride, arrogance, and attituded prevalent in the hobby, and I can safely say that
not all car owners have that issue, but if all we do is think and sleep these peices of steel and rubber and chrome,
where is a heart of selflessness? Just my opinion. I read this in the bible and it blew mt mind. Parentheses are my thoughts:Psalm 20:7
"Some trust in chariots, (or SS Camaros)
and some in horses, (or motorcyles)
But we will remember the name of the Lord our God."
This put it right in my mind-
Mattthew 6:19
"19 Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where
moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;
"20 but lay up for yourselves trasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal.
"21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Take care...................Joel
