Also a big thanks to Colin for bringing Kayna and especially for hitting his head on the same shelf in his trailer that I hit while at the Shelby convention....

And a big thanks to Sixtiesmuscle for that huge wheelie in his Nickey Chevelle.
And as usual a big thanks to the old man Barnhardt. A 71 year old that schools us all on the strip running 10.30's while banging a 4 speed...truely a treasure.....

I was thinking the same thing. I guess that's what happens when you get old.

Next thing will be hugs and tears.

We must have knocked Charley around too much go karting - I think he took a hard hit to the head? For the record, I didn't hit my head in that damn trailer - it was my back and boy did that smart. But at least I provided some comic relief for Charley and Cana who not only got to enjoy watching me sweat my 's off loading the cars but then watch me double over in pain as I was locking the trailer down

Next year we need Gags back at the go kart event, it really wasn't fair for us to go counter-race and keep ramming Charley and Mike G. Hey, in my defense, I didn't think Cana took me seriously when I pointed to those two guys and said "go get 'em" LOL. Who knew that $35 slipped in the hand of a 18 year old go kart track "official" could buy so much track time and make them look the other way for all of it?? Certainly one of the highlights of the weekend.

One last note: I think we all learned a valuable lesson at the track on Friday- never let your resto guy insist on "concours correct" fasteners for your crank pulley They tend to shear off after a couple of runs and then you have to drive by the smelting plant in St. Louis to get to Bob's Auto Parts to buy a drill bit, and easy-out, and then raid Pete's trailer for bolts and tools. It has been said here many times, but out of all the clubs I am in this group is the most down to earth, fun, and genuine group of true "car guys" you'd ever hope to find.

Oh crap, I must have hit my head too

Here's to many more SCR's!

Colin
