the heads are 71 and not orginal, I haven't got back over to the car to pull the seat yet, going away this weekend so it won't be til next week.

- I'm with you all the way on the docs...surely the hardtop is worth more if it's a documented W31 and the post turns out not to be.. Found that old Car Review article last night w/ the silver W31 post car ...it was a 1986 issue!. Man, time just keeps speeding up as the years go by!!!. Good luck Will!. Anyone know if the '68's had the same balancers or not?. ~ Pete

the 442.com w-31 needs a LOT of metal work,at least 5 figures to repair,in my opinion.
he has no docs to support the w-27 came with the car originally. as for the w31 balancer,from 68-70 they are all the same,but there are w-31 parts out there with 1973 date codes.

Too bad it's not a post but the car in Canada looks like the best deal of all perhaps...especially if it's originally a Canadian delivered car and can be documeneted through George and the boys at Canadian GM Vintage Services!. ~ Pete

the blue w31 isnt documented,originally a Georgia car, but its numbers matching with the 7040255(w31) qjet,which is extremely HARD TO FIND.
if he had docs on this car,figure 40k minimum

posted this yesterday but it disappeared
 anyhow, no build sheet, there were some scrapes but the rest was mouse poop. he will probably just end up keeping the car, rather than take a big hit. tell me this though, what does the POP card tell you and why are they supposed tobe so good to have, or am I misunderstanding thier importance. thanks for so much help  you may see it for sale soon, but the price may not be in line  Will
