Kent Mathison's Z-28. Painted by the same guy that does all my cars. Beautiful work!

Now this is a new way to inject a Z.

Seems to me this was a Car Craft or Hot Rod feature car from back in the early 80's. There were actually many 70's-80's Street Machines there that still looked as good as the day they were build. Nice to see them back again.

And here it is again. Very well crafted car. I think they hired Gags to drive it.

Would you believe 9.50's at over 150 mph!!! Talk about a sleeper. This thing was running when the pictures were being taken and it just purred.

Default Car Craft Nationals photo essay

This is Barnhart's hauler for the '02 car.

This is as close to a '69 Post that I could find for you Dan.

And the highlight of the show. What happens when you do a STRICTLY FORBIDDEN burnout on the street WITHIN your parking spot spraying gravel and rubber all over another participants car......? Why you get a personal escort off the grounds.

Oh and Ken, can you find the reflection.............

Beep Beep thats all folks.........

Great Shots......I remember some of those spots in the Fairgrounds from the 80's Street Rod events......Reflection is O.K.....with a little more Practice and "Strategic Positioning".....you will do "Just Fine".....LOL
Is that dirt and gravel on the front end of the Black Camaro.......Love the 69 "Z" with the Super
Rare 1 of 1 Fuel Injection unit...

Ken, if you look closely at that black Camaro, it is peppered with rubber in the right front corner. You can also see a lot of it on the ground. The hood was covered in those little blackish grey stones that are used in blacktopping as well as rubber fragments. It was quite an interesting situation once the cops got there. I think there was four of them there.

Sam, I am sorry but I did not stop long enough to get the information off the Dick Landy car. I was disappointed his hood was not open as well.
