Not a muscle car, but a neat story. Guess I'm a sucker
. This beauty has been owned by the current owners since 1960. The lines on this Cadillac went on forever. She really drew a crowd.... ![]()

This last car just grabbed me. I just about missed this Impala as it was late to the show, but I'm glad I didn't miss it. 53,000 miles. The owner was one year old and the youngest of six kids when his mother bought this nine passenger station wagon. He has owned it since it was given to him when he was sixteen. He had the presence of mind to keep it and not beat the snot out of it. Check out the option list. His mother wanted a 427, but the salesman talked her out of it - was that available in a station wagon? The color is Blue Danube Metallic, the patina was terrific with lots of original chalk marks. Current owner wants to do a "complete resto" which I attempted to talk him out of. He said he would think about it. He showed me a ton of original documentation including order form, build sheet, POP, owner's manual, accessory manual, etc. Booster and Master Cyl. are out for rebuild. Don't 'spect you see too many positraction, 396 wagons back in the day.
He definitely had a cool Mom.![]() ![]()
