Keith, Great job on sticking with what you really wanted. Very nice. Good story too.

Very car and a neet story but PLEASE tell me the car sitting in the trailer is just a staged setting for a photo. You REALLY don't want to tow the trailer with the car loaded backwards. (Corvairs and VW's excepted)

Thanks everyone for the welcome and the kind words about my car. I have a totally different view about life in general now that I have obtained the car of my dreams. A life mired in work and family has taken a backseat sorta, I have the object of my childhood obsession. I have found myself much happier all around now that I have the car I've always wanted. I have met some outstanding people and have a new focus.
As for the wife taking the roadtrip......I was pretty surprised myself, She was actually the driving force and insisted that we go. I guess she knew the end would overshadow the means.
And the car facing backwards in the trailer was the way she was kept until the garage was erected. I didn't move the car that way. Here are a couple pics of the garage.

Congratulations on the feature and on finally satisfying your quest with a great car! I have a feeling it will be a "keeper" for quite a long time!

Very sweet piece!.
With so many negative tales in the car world of late, it's sure refreshing to read such a great story!.
Sounds like you've hit the jackpot twice too Keith...a woman like that is much more rare than a 4N Camaro!.
Happy wife = happy life!
