Charlie...You could probably finish it off as it is and re restore it later when you have all the pieces. That would be a fun car at the Reunion drags in the meantime.

Good point, as it is not too far from being driveable. It would be one hell of a ride.

As has been already said...congrats on the purchase! It will be neat to see it evolve...whenever that is.

So Clill...where's the turbine go cart?

WW...good move not kicking it around to long before pulling the trigger!.
The docs sound great...it's probably best not to post them but is there any vintage pics you can share?.
Considering it's current configuration, running it in as is for a while before resto is a really cool idea...perhaps it would appease the wife if you let her do the driving?.
So as new would it have been L88 powered...and do you know yet if it was delivered w/ the A&A stinger on it?.

It's a cool car but the word 're-body' is always going to follow it around. EVERYBODY has now seen the shape it is in with it's missing firewall, etc. It would be cool finished the way it is with factory style paint, dash, seats and maybe de-tune several hundred horses out of that motor to make it half-way reliable. There's a lot of money tied up in some fine chassis work that will be useless once it's Sawzalled out of the car. It'd be great to see a 7-second, documented Baldwin-Motion car. Probably be the fastest one of all time!
