Q. Why is divorce so expensive?

A. Because it's WORTH it.

With apologies to all you happily married guys out there, and I know there really are some. I am just a bit cynical these days.

Dennis,

Since most people put on their best face before marriage
( ladies, that also includes men ), how can you tell if
your "intended" has more to loose. In my case, we were
both young and had nothing. I climbed out of the basement,
she refused to.

If you can tell how to recognize the difference, I'm all ears

My wife and I have been married for almost 20 years...

No one on our 'block' is on their first marriage...a few have been married more than twice

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones...

Yeah Bruce! I was at 26 years when the bottom dropped out.
And up until that time I thought we were happy too

If I knew then what I later learned, I would have been asking lots of questions.

Some last!!! Earl and I just celebrated 37 years last Wednesday. Sounds like we're ready for the rocking chairs but we're still pretty young at heart. Linda
