Hey Rob, I strictly replied to the bullet proof statement in a hypothetical way. I see the seller has a great e-bay rating and that carries it's own weight and he is no doubt a great guy. I totally agree that anyone interested needs to do their homework and go look at it. No doubt the car has great potential and I hope it finds a new good owner to restore it.

My post was more aimed at the people that were being so critical and even taking personal shots at him. He is a friend of mine and I probably should have put my post on the Chevelle website - not here. Sorry, I didn't mean to jump on anybody here including you...

Hey Rob;
Do You remember the Red, White, and Blue 70 SS454 convertible that was in Kalamazoo until the mid 90's. I bought it from a guy named Doug who had several killer Chevelles including a 9 second 65 in yellow. Jim
