I should have been more careful with the title. I am looking for a 1968 at this point. Thank you

Hi Bart, Yeah it went to Canada, I already miss it but my wife is happy and she is out looking for tile for the bathrooms. Considering her plans I may need to lower my expectations for the next car.

Scott, I should just wait and see what you came up with next. Only problem is I am finding out my taste is bigger than my budget.

No kidding Mark. Even your wife sounds expensive. First its a bathroom remodel, then its a pool!

Well I think I found a car. As I said before I will start looking for one kind of car and end up with something else. I ended up with a L/78 El Camino. I saw this car 25 years ago 250 miles away from where I live now. It ran out of gas in front of my house and I helped the kid get it started. The old man that he bought it from said it had a special motor and the kid thought the seller was just making up a story. I pointed out to him the differences the L/78 had when compared to a regular 396. The kid drove the car another 10 years with a small block in it then he put in storage. This week end I called on an ad on the Internet and it's the same guy, we both remember the conversation 25 years later. The car is all apart and needs to be restored but its all there. I did not want another project but how could I pass on finding the same car 25 years later. I will get more details and pictures out when the car gets home later this week. Thanks to everybody for all your help with cars for sale and leads.
