I don;' believe the one I saw on the Pace Car was a rectangular one. It was cast but it was the letters all tied together.
The one in Keith's picture may be correct for '70.
the next time I drive by and the Pace Car guy is in his garage, I'll ask whether I can have another look at it. He's a pretty private guy, so he's not too cooperative.

The car that I took the pictures of is pretty original and needs a restoration. I really don't know anything about the emblems. I just took the picture of what I saw. I rather doubt that this was added later based on the condition of the car. Who knows?
