Sam...pretty soon you're going to have enough documentation to rival NJSteve's Charger!

Sam, what a spectacular car. I have 1 of 6 1970 L-78 Chevelle Convertible - however I think yours beats me head to head on the show floor.
Thanks for sharing your story.

Thanks Dave and welcome aboard. You've got some nice iron yourself.

I made my way back to AZ this past week as we were having one of the daughters of our German friends stay with us. Toward the end of her visit, 3 of her college mates joined us as well. They are all 3rd year students in Bio-Engineering and were sharp as a whip and very engaging. One of the fellows enjoys photography and is quite good at it. He is also a car freak! He really liked our black SS and asked to shoot it once we got back from a desert tour at the end of the day. I had mentioned that the HMM cover shot was done with old strobes in order to illuminate the car after sunset. Well this kid is quite innovative so he removed his camera's flash unit and ran around the car flashing it off with a 50+ second exposure and the results were quite interesting....

Hey Eddie. It was Andy who experimented with the lighting and made the results of the photo shoot look a lot easier than they were.

BTW, Eddie hosted our 4 Deutschland friends, my wife and one of my sons at his Super Bowl extravaganza party while I headed back to Ohio. They all said they had a ball (altho the Germans thot for some reason it was suppose to be a soccer match ) Big THANKS Eddie!

Here's a couple more post sunset shots....
