If I understand you correctly you are stating that sometimes they are different betweent the LS5/LS6? They might be between the 454 and a 396 car but not an LS5/LS6. This was purely a date/plant thing. Mid year production went from a single line 727 pump to a dual line 768 pump regardless if it was an LS5 or LS6. As an example, Annie's 1st week of January LS-5 has the dual line and 768 pump just as an LS-6 would. Rick
