So a KQ 12 bolt from a 69 COPO Chevelle would sell for and average of 750.00 ??? If the pictures aint lying..a Z-16 rear is worth way more than even the higfh number of 1200.

ALbert

PS very cool find

Thanks Albert. I agree. I wonder if ebay is the place to sell it? Hard to place a price on an item like this.

so are you offering way more than $1200 if so he should sell it to you I have sold 20-30 rears in the past couple months so I have a pretty good idea of what its worth its not like finding a be camaro rear end but to get a chevelle rear end that will bring $1200 is a great find the chevelle stuff just dosent bring the big bucks like camaros even though it should jmo

What I know about the Z16 rear end. It is unique in every way. It has special axles and tubes that are from the larger passenger car cut down to fit the Chevelle housing. So, it also has the larger axle bearings and 11 inch drums from the big cars. They only made this axle for the Z16 and we all know there were only 201 of those cars ever made. There is a Z16 owner out there that will be needing this correct axle.

MRREC will have a good idea at value. Great find. Joey...Out of the 20-30 rears you have sold in the last couple months, I'm guessing none of them were like this one.

I would imagine the value would be right up there with a BE rear if not higher. A very special unit.

On Sunday morning, I was at church.

Todd and I struck a deal. The rear will be back at home in my latest Z16 that I bought in March from the owner since '67! Photo attached.

Thanks, all.
