I think it is possible for it to be a carbon copy. I have many sheets from mainly Wilmington DE cars and one that I have is a carbon copy. It has blue characters and the backside is the stuff that goes on to the next sheet. It also has the piece of masking tape on it from when it was once stuck to the body during assembly. It also has the holes on one side, and the handwritten number is in ink, unlike most you will see that are copies. I was at a PA yard last week and found a car with FOUR sheets, all from that car, oddly enough.
Verne, do you have any 64-70 Chevrolet Wilmington Sheets? Steve

Steve,
I have quite a few '64 Wilmington build sheets. Not all plants used the same type of sheets. Wilmington used large 8.5x11 with "X"s in the boxes to denote the options. No cryptic codes. Wilmington did leave a lot of paper in their cars. Verne |
