It is a shame to have such a nice piece and have the fake valve covers on it. If I am not mistaken flagship marine used the same style of finned aluminum valve covers that Motion used .regardless of Motion involvement or not. Many of the marine engine specialists of the time used this type of valve cover and placed a displacement/ brand decal in the recessed area that Motion stuck their metal emblem.
