Jeffrey - suggest you post a photo (or two) to pique our collective interest. That may help you. Sounds like a neat car.

I'm in San Antonio quite a bit, but I don't know anything about the car or the shop. I'll say that that's a strong military base area. Chances are very good that the car was owned and raced by an Air Force guy.
