The only article I recall was Bill Clements, Black, Red Stripe, Red interior LS-6 convert with Aluminum heads. The article was run in the mid 80's in Musclecar Review or one of the other "Muscle" magazines of that time.

Bill; Yes it had a one off Fiberglass hood supposedly a GM prototype . The build sheet showed some real strange things like F-70-15 wheel tire combo as well, Very Questionable as to the originality of the doc's and car !!!

That car and the al head Nova are both fairy tales cars, sound good, but they were never made. If they were show me PROOF!!!!

Wasnt chevycraft the same outfit that made fake buildsheets back in the day??Or are there 2 outfits by the same name??

Yep.

Also fake build sheet. Not sure if the car was real or not but it sold at BJ about 6 years ago for $45K.

Same outfit that used to advertise in Hemmings for fake tags and buildsheets, and is now selling fake tags on ebay. The listings are by Bill and Howie in Lubbock, TX, which is none other than Mr. Clements. Here's a link to a recent tag auction of his:
