What about the hideous Purple 69 "Roadrunner" with the 440 under the hood?

Looks like a $7,500 car a year or two ago, sold for $30k?

Whew!

[/ QUOTE ] It is hard to say because there was not a 435 car that I saw that had won any major awards. If anyone has a real red 435 hp convertible that is documented and has its born with drivetrain and will sell it for the 151K that the red one brought yesterday I will buy it ASAP I did see a 66 390hp car that was a Top Flight winner sell for 117K which is pretty strong money for that car. I think owners of great cars have learned a lesson and will not participate in a no reserve auction JMHO.

I am pretty sure, as in 100% sure, the red '67 conv that sold yesterday was a 390hp setup, at least that's what the air cleaner decal showed...

If nice 67' 435hp cars ever drop to 100K, I'm going shopping.
