I don't know Steve personally, but I know his reputation. I'm willing to bet there were no victors. Steve got what he wanted, and Bert got what he wanted.

Just got off the phone with Brian Henderson @ SuperCar WorkShop...he **thinks** he'll be able to get the Dana "427" Camaro to SCR-10 this summer as a "roller/pusher". Time just doesn't allow for any drivetrain or mechanical repairs prior to the Reunion this summer, but it looks like it will be there for display purposes, "as found".

Thanks to Brian, Joe, Frank and the whole SuperCar Workshop and Arone's Body Shop crew for making this car's display at SCR-10 a reality.
I'm also hopeful that Bert Nakamura will be able to attend SCR-10 to share the war-stories that he and his brother, Bruce, and this Dana converted Camaro endured/survived back in 1969 & 1970 at the Honolulu drag strip.
