The wheels and tires did it for me. Old five-spokes with belted tires just looks so good. That thing was peobably a hoot to drive too.

When we ran our 1/8 mile AHRA strip back in the 60s & 70s we would get fliers like these from the booking agents. I mentioned the old Farkonis, Coil & Minick car to Kwhizz last weekend and it reminded me of a few of these that were still on the wall in my garage. I carefully peeled a couple off a couple of nights ago. I'll try to get a few more if anyone's interested.
Midwest Super Stock circuit we used to see a few times a year. Any of you midwest guys remember 'Easy Ed' Rachanski? ![]() And Melvin Yow in Billy 'The Kid' Stepp's Dodge Demon. ![]()
