the only thing I know for sure is that it isn't there anymore. Isn't the Buick dealership there Glenn Buick? I would try to contact the ownership and ask them. Ha! I just noticed that you are located in Lexington. I lived there for four years and currently live only two hours away. I have a friend up there who used to sell cars in the area back in the 70's who has a nice GS Stage 1. He's an old man I used to work with when I was at UK. I'll try to give him a ring tonight. Chances are, that's where he ordered his car if that was the Buick dealership in Lexington in 1970.

I guess I'll have to mosey on down there and see what the skinny is. I had never even heard of the place. I assumed that it may have had some ties with glenn buick, nissan, mitsubishi, infiniti, hyundai, gmc.... and whatever else they carry. The lot is 1/2 mile long it seems.

Sugar Glenn was Bruce Glenn's father and founder of Sug Glenn Buick on High Street in Lexington, ky. It was situated to the right of Calvary Baptist Church. Bruce Glenn later developed the Glenn Auto Group on Richmond Road. After Bruce Glenn's death, General Manager Cy Dicken purchased the dealership and eventually sold it. The property and dealerships are now owned by Don Franklin.
