When I asked the seller, "do you have any documentation or history on this car? why do you think it may be a BaldwinMotion Vette?"

[ QUOTE ]

he replied;

"It is a Cal blue plate car so you can go back to the first owner. It has a complete Baldwin motion body but I removed the reverse gills and installed GM gills it can be changed back the motion gills go with this Vette. It is not a 435 hp engine? The rear wing is not a motion part (Vista Cruiser, maybe?) and it is not installed at this time but goes with. The hood is a GM L88 hood not a motion L88 hood needless to say it is a very nice example of a Baldwin motion Vette. Call me Wednesday and I will give you the vin and tag# So you can check it out Thanks.
John"

Were the side vents actually seperate pieces as pictured in the ad or were the original vents just cut out and reversed?

I was under the impression the stock vents were reversed. So maybe this guy has a left handed screwdriver too?

I'm pretty sure the stock vents were reversed too.. and I believe were swapped left to right. If I remember....

Pretty creative piece of work since there's a slight body curve in that area and the back vents weren't open.

What is the purpose of reversed vents? Seems stupid to me, and a predecessor to all the tacked-on rice bullsh1t that is currently out there.
