I remember Bruce Springsteen playing at Le Garage which was a little octagon shaped dump here on Long Bech Island (LBI) and only a few people showing up. George Thoroughgood playing at Joe Pops in Ship Bottom on LBI and really rocking the place, Actually, Many famous bands played at Joe Pop's Shore Bar before they became famous. A few years ago John Bon Jovi was hanging out and hopped up on stage for a song. Here is a link http://www.chorusandverse.com/conten...8_DaddyPop.htm
Also hung out and partied with the guys from Fog Hat, Edgar Winter, Bo Diddly...Crazy Party Island in the Summer ![]()

If I had to live on a desert Island, It would need a drag strip. On the PA system I would blast songs from these five groups,
#1 Beatles (Best ever and enough songs to last for years) #2 Metallica (This will be great when my hair grows real long) #3 AC/DC (Can't imagine not bringing them along!) #4 Nirvana (Kurt was a genius!) #5 The Doors ( Key word is Desert)

Original REO with Kevin Cronin, Gary Richrath, Neil Daughty; (Golden Country, Roll with the Changes) How about Head East. (Never Been Any Reason)
