Very cool piece!.
I've always liked H-J's and their brothers the Sears Allstates...man, they're not loking so ugly any more are they?. Looks like the Speedo head's been removed and is stuck at about 100 mph?. Good luck w/ searching the vehicle's past!. Car was set up for SBC and a 4-speed. The rear end is a Mopar 8 3/4 thats a spool

Neat old car.
 There was one of those in my neighborhood when I was in high school. It also was hot-rodded, but don't know the particulars.
