This Maverick was sponsored by Car Care in North Vancouver. These cars, along with Vegas and Pintos with V8s always looked they had too much motor. Bulging hoods, and headers hanging down gave the impression that they were just crammed with motivation.

Ok, I was out of town for a few days, so I'll add a few tonight.
This photo is of an Austin A40 that was a Vancouver fixture for years. He drove this regularly on the street, and it was Big Block powered. Black with blue pearl flames made it a striking car. Sorry for the poor quality. ![]() |
