Guv...the broach marks in the pic are too deep and cross over each other. They were probably done with a file. Here is a pad from another thread to compare.

Hey Charlie the reason that the broach marks are opposite is that GM turned the block 90 degrees when they were machineing the block.

Same ebay seller as the silver ls6 convertible with the coupe buildsheet that sold on ebay to someone on this site..
