Default Re: ebay scam alert (just letting you know)

The exact same thing happened to me a few months ago. I clicked on the link in his email and it brought up another ebay sign on screen. The hacker created that screen so he could get my password and use my account. He deleted all the bids I had on an auction with only a few hours left on it. I couldn't edit or delete the auction, so I had a buddy send me a question about the item, then I posted my reply which was a warning to everyone that it had been hacked and it was void.
Then I contacted ebay through their help chat and they backed me up. Declared the auction was hacked, notified all the other bidders to let them know as well. They were very good about it. They suspended my account, then I reopened it with a new password, and I kept all my old feedback as well.
Don't EVER click on a link in an email from anyone!!!
