The numbers look to fall in the middle of a range of COPOs so it could be. Did you check for the partial VIN on the engine? That should help clinch it.

the vin is stamped above the oil filter

Don't know if this helps much but I noticed my 05 C copo is 618 body numbers away from yours...... JQ.
