sort of off topic but a friend of mine thinks he has one of Mcqueens old busses that he took his motorcycle racing with. It would be cool if he could ever verify it as such.

Ever notice that the Charger lost five hub caps? Three during the chase and two when in the air at the end.
Right at the begining when pulling out of the service station parking lot, a '65 green Corvette with FI emblems goes by. You need to look at it in slow motion. |

the movie channel runs an expose on mcqueen very now and then,and it has a detailed sequence showing mcqueen and the guy driving the charger practicing at some race track,i believe it was Ontario.
he tore that mustang up before the shooting of the actual chase,did a lot of donuts at a parking lot.
