I would say it looks pretty good. I have a T0416JH 4-bolt block from a 69 Nova with a double Vin stamp. The first stamp was struck at an angle, X'ed out and re-stamped.

Gut feeling says it's OK, but as Sam says, you can't see the metal surface finish very well.
