one thing that sticks in my head, that my dad always said...

never, absolutely NEVER, do business with anyone that won't take their sunglasses off, so you can't see the truth in their eyes....

to this day, I live by that creed.

My wife noticed the sunglasses guy too, said he looked like a shady hick. Unless he's had some sort of disfiguring injury, he really ought to drop that routine.

PS, thanks for the correction on the 4dr hemi ride, I would have figured it for a police pkg, if not for the color.

I won't begin to stick up for shady characters or anyone with a good poker face, but sadly I have an eye disease that requires me to wear dark prescription glasses outdoors always and inside brightly lit stores, supermarkets etc. I've heard mumblings of crap like "what are you a F#$(&^g movie star or something" to "why dont you take off your shades so you can see what you're doing". The sad thing is, is that I can't see what I'm doing without them. I even have to where them while watching TV during the day. I would much rather fit into the crowd rather have someone ask me if I'm selling pencils.

By no means was I making light of anyone with an eye problem and completely understand that sometimes you have no choice. I have seen videos of Steve with out the sunglasses and it appears his eyes are working properly.

[/ QUOTE ] Forget the sunglasses statement, all you have to do is look to your right, then look to your left, and 9 out of every ten on each side of you at BJ would hose you on a car,so let them keep thier glasses on

All I can add to this is that I have several customers that will step up and pay record prices today for NO BS FACTROY STAMPED FACTORY DOCUMENTED soild lifter big block corvettes. There are VERY FEW that come up in a venue like this. I know of many REAL cars but no one is willing to part with them beacuse the are almost impossible to replace.
I also have a customer who is looking for a 67 gt 500 boss 429 and boss 302 who will be paying a higher price because of this.
So if the bubble has burst or has a slow leak...and anyone wants to sell thier 67 435 Corvette for 100,000.00 let me know I'll buy 10 of them today.
This all boils down to the real cars will always bring very strong prices when selling
It was just last year when B/J was setting record prices and evryone said who will pay these prices, that I posted about some of my customers that paid twice the going price of a restored for a car needing restoration ( but these cars had multiple pieces of factory documentation and born with drivetrains).
Even when things change they still stay the same (if you know what I mean!)
Rich

It's a Dracula thing: He's afraid you'll all see he has no soul. I also noticed that neither he nor Craig Jackson ever appeared standing next to a mirror. What are they afraid of?....I reviewed the entire 40 hours of tape and despite the fact they are standing next to hundreds of cars, you NEVER once see their reflection in the glass. ooooooooooh spooky I say
