Its definitely 2/4...I can see the front AFB base and that air cleaner will ONLY come on 2/4. VIN will tell you if its a Wildcat Custom or Wildcat . There will be a 6 instead of 5 in the VIN denoting the higher lever Custom.

Just looked at the trim tag...it is a Wildcat Custom..I also noticed someone remover the tag and pop riveted it back on...the 2L probably means 4 speed...the color is called Verde Green

I was about to say ahhhhhhh...Verde'
but after checking for replies to my post on the Buick site; http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.ph...660#post915660 I am getting out the ten foot pole on this car. Thanks to all those BUICK guys that had info on this car and took the time to get me informed. |

I knew there weren't many 4spd Wildcats, but my knowledge did not amount to much more than that. I've been on V8Buick for a couple of years, and it's one of my favorites. Lots of car guys with other cars frequent it too. I'm glad I could be of service.

The friggin VIN tag is pop riveted on !!!!!!! Buick guys are just as whacked about their stuff as the guys here are...good info from the V8Buick guys....I wish someone would turn up with my old 65 A8 Shell Beige Riviera.If I had only known how rare that car was.

so, Bob, with the trim tag jignglin around and VIN not matching the block do I still go look underneath? oh yeah, those V8Buick guys are on their game. |

Uh..no...the VIN tage is pop riveted, the trim is pop riveted, the engine is non match...all adds up to POS
