If the letter E-May & F-June, are inbetween the ribs then that's the month code.
The letter I was not used to date the Tanks either that I have seen,so M was December.
If there was a suffix tag attached,it would have the actual radiators part # on it.
Kinda difficult to find anymore specific application info w/o the suffix tag attached.
Your 1970 L-78 Nova Radiator would have had a ZE suffix tag, part #3017838.
That CH tank would've been found on the TH400 1969 Big Block Camaro too.

Kim, according to the CRG chart the IL code is 67-69 BB auto...but the 67-68 big tank had OM....when you think about how few 68 BB Nova auto cars there were (L34/L78) it would make sense that they would have used the Camaro ones they had on hand the Gibb cars were a late production run and perhaps the radiators were already in the works for the 69 model year..that would explain the 69 code....maybe drop an e-mail to Wayne...he might have some info from John's car.

Tom they were also 4-core instead of 3-core The 3-core was standard in a 68-375 nova. Being a auto they would have had to use a auto tank also.
