I had my 69 out on Christmas Eve. Never thought that would happen. Nice to have some mild temps but shouldn't really be happening this time of year in Chicago.

Give thanks to Mother Nature by replacing one (or more) of your incandescent bulbs with a compact fluorescent. Save energy, the environment and money on your electric bill. How can you go wrong?

Darren,

Since when did you become such an energy environmental?

Dan.

I dont get it. There I go every sunny sunday, taking out my ride "to burn unreplenishable fossil fuel and laugh about it" now I get a lecture on dim curly flourescent bulbs on the same site where we all gas it? Have you got a Prius in the driveway?

I did put those curley bulbs in a store room that had 150watt bulbs and a 14' ceiling because I was tired of climbing up to replace them. I must say the curleys have lasted a while and I cant see the dusty shelves like I used to.

Lecture?
Hardly. It was just a though. Don't like it ignore it. Better some effort than none. Perhaps next I will stop driving my cars. Who knows? I'm too sick to debate and that wasn't the intention in the first place.
