I might have been tempted to wave some $$$ at that loader for that Vette or that 68 flattop wagon. I did that at a local yard on a 67 loaded Tornado that was the next to bottom car in a stack of five just about ready to go into the crusher. Offered him $200 for the complete 425 if it will spin. It did, and I got it. As long as they get the hulk back, some of the smaller polaces listen to $$$.
I missed a 66 SS396 4 speed car that was in the stack already flattened down. Manual steering box was visible and still intact, so got that for $20. 5 minutes with the gas hatchet. Not my favorite Vette, but very surprising it was going into the crusher. Not that bad.
