They were chrome. Sherwood Allen used to tune it for me and always got a charge outta what a bad muther it was for a big car. Even had Pos-A-Traction tires on it ~ front and rear! God...I wish I knew where it ended up
 (and no....she wasn't me girlfriend! The sea hag in the front seat was the mother of older women who "liked my shifter" when I was just 19....but, thats another Forum! lolololo)  Jeff x2
