I've had very good service from Fed-ex Passport on several occasions. Go figure. I ordered the service via the website, someone called a few hours later to confirm, and everything went smoothly. I have also had good service from Intercity and Road Scholar.

Service at FedEx has gotten spotty lately - and I asked the last driver why. According to him, it is because FedEx's car shipping business has grown so fast that they have had to aquire a number of small carriers to keep up with the demand, and several of the aquisitions have been a little suspect. He was a long time car carrier, so I suspect he knew what he was talking about.

A frined of mine used DAS and they did about 6k worth of damage to his truck. when they dropped it off the driver told him to call the office. he filed a claim and it took several months to get paid. The reason so much damage is his truck was a very expensive paint job with a body kit on it and they busted off the front spoiler and scratched both sides of the truck very badly!

Blue Highways delivered a non running LS-6 to me last year that they jumped through many hoops with me including allowing me to offload it directly onto a roll back right off the rear door. VERY good and persaonable driver/wife. My only complaint was they were several days behind schedule. Otherwise I was very happy with them.

fed ex gives them selves a huge window for pick up and delivery times.....
then they don't delver within the time they specified,
then they have the nerve to state 'we really have 90 days to make the delivery according to contract'

Well this is timely, i am looking to transport a car right now and planned on using FEDEX. I had used them when they were Passport with no problems and just recently used them when they were FEDEX and again had good service. I have also used Horseless Carriag and intercity with good results.

What were the problems with FedEx?
Lets here the recomendations for my next transport.

thanks,

JOHN
