Hi Nick,
I looked in my personal dealer list and have a match. 27 275 is: Village Chevrolet Co Inc 222-22 Jamaica Ave Queens Village NY 11428 I think this came from a 1967 protecto plate book. Steve

Thanks to everyone! I just picked up my '74 Spirit of America Vega on Long Island two weeks ago. I passed by Bast Chevy on the way. Since it was built in Canada (1st year for this), I was able to get documentation from GM Canada for it. They only listed the code, not the dealer name, I figured it was in NYC, because an old key I got with the car was stamped with the name of a locksmith in Yonkers, NY. Another hint was the City/Country horn switch under the dash. I've only seen them on Ebay until now.
The body of the car is in great shape. The interior needs a little work (elbow grease, seat covers, carpet), but it's all there. Best of all, I owned one of these back in the 70's, so it's like seeing an old friend again! Thanks again for the help. -Nick
