[ QUOTE ]
the White 2002 Mule we had at SR6-7? ran in the high Tens with the automatic trans/ 12 bolt and the C5R 427 putting out over 600hp at the rear wheels. [/ QUOTE ] I could definitely see that...600hp @ wheels is a lotta grunt! I was thinking the majority of the P3 '02 ZL1s were down around 475-500 @ wheels? The majority of those cars are relatively heavy, too... I still laugh thinking of when "Big Dog" told me about running into his first '02 ZL1, while @ Bristol...he had his Stock Appearing '69 ZL1 there, and they wanted to do a mini-shootout type thing for a magazine. I guess they thought it was gonna be a cake walk, with an open headered/sticky tired '02 against the closed exhaust/Polyglass tired "original" looking '69. They make 1 pass, Terry drops an 11.3 @ 127 on them, the '02 is a step back at 11.6 @ like 120, but the shootout idea gets thrown out the window! He did tell me he was really impressed with the '02, though... [BTW: I'm not knocking the cars, they're some of the sickest street cars out there... ![]() |
