Here is the VIN stamp on the TH400 trans for my 70 Z-28. It appears to be stamped at an angle and is very close to MosportGreen66's car at 0L510574. You can see that the last 5 was larger that the rest.

 I was planning to go on wed. to buy it. Was getting things in order to say sold. Very unlike me not to pull the trigger. I think it was a good car, and maybe a little pricey but i want one like that. Good colors, RS, 4spd, #s and paperwork. ANYBODY WANT TO SELL ME THEIRS???????????????
