Darren.... I think this is one of the cars you were asking about. Joe Cheeks owns this car and it is on his website right now. He has a small muscle car dealership in TN somewhere. He also take alot of his cars to the Mecum auctions both here in IL and to KC. Here's the link to the L78 Camaro on his site http://www.e-automania.com/gallery/m...?g2_itemId=239

I believe it was approx $70,000ish and the Auctioneer announced that it would take $80,000.00 to buy it that day.
He did sell his paint code 67 Burgundy 1969 Z28 for $72,500.00 plus fees. Lots of no shows, both cars and people due to the weather. I drove down. They had to close the interstate. It was a mess. |

Stefano,
Sorry I missed you. Hodges and I rolled in to look at things on Friday afternoon as cars were coming in. It was amazing the number of cars that came in on open carriers and how much of a mess they were! That L78 was definately a jem and I was guessing 70 to 80 would be the money for that car. How did the Nomad do?

I took the Audi Quattro instead of the Suburban and just motored thru all the snow and ice. I have never seen so many cars, trucks 4x4s and rigs off the road and stuck in the snow.
The snow was so deep that once you were off the road you were about done. There were rescue/tow vehicles everywhere. The Nomad did OK/$70K based on the circumstances. Just not enough to cut it loose, so it is still for sale. |

OK, Now I know which L78 this is. It’s the Colorado car. I am not sure if this car the original DriveTrain or not.
when sold it had a 454 in it but came with a L78 block. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/showflat...&PHPSESSID=

I thought that to Mark but it is not. The auction car is a Norwood car and the Colorado car was an LA car...
