Default Re: Biscayne Resto Project

Actually......What happened was that I decided to remove the upper and lower control arms on the rear end (one side at a time) to glass bead and paint them.......I removed the lower arm first after jacking up the frame with a bottle jack on the lift to remove just about all the spring tension (the plan almost worked) , when I took out the second bolt from the lower arm, the spring still had a slight amount of tension and the Spring/arm assy wedged itself against the rear end housing.....I pushed it with my hand (Stupid) instead of a screwdriver and there was just enough tension on the arm that when I pushed it out of the way it caught my hand between the arm and rear end housing....Damm that hurt..... but the arms sure look good now....

Stupid
