Default Re: I NEED SOME PAINT ADVICE....

1200-2000. make sure you get WET sand paper. It should have a grey backing NOT a tan backing. Move in "X" directions. The human eye cannot pick up defects in paint that criss-cross. Do not role the edge of your fender with the sand paper, otherwise you're going to remove paint. Also, make sure you get a wet sanding sponge and DO NOT use your finger tips to wet sand.

3M makes a great compound and its pretty moderately priced. They also make a swirl mark remover. When you're all done sanding and buffing, get some Zaino car polish, clay bar and wax the area you wet sanded.
