I've only heard of '65s. Especially with the advent of the 396, I bet they're REALLY rare, and the rate of attrition is probably greater than 396 cars because they're obscure. I'd love to see one of these as a rag or a post. Have seen one or two Malibu hardtops.
As they only came with sticks, is there a way to tell from the tranny? Or did 275hp cars receive the same tranny? |

They were all 4spds and the reason they are so rare is unless u have docs or the #s matching drivetrain there just a v8 malibu body according to the vin. There are no codes on the cowl tags or in the vin # and the 275 hp cars had almost all the same stuff so unless u really know these cars once they lost the orig eng and docs u can,t tell them apart....aside from a few little pieces..
