Now that is what this is all about. An honest and educated input regarding someones property for sale and a positive response by the seller in the end. That's the way they should go.

Just got home...I'll be damned if those numbers don't look different than Charley's and Paul's. Can I say conclusively whether this is a really old repro part or a service replacement GM part? I know the guy whose car this came from relatively well, and it's been this way since he bought it in 1994. Thanks again for all the input so far. I'll post the update in the Ebay auction.

We stamped a lot of those smog pulleys years ago and sold them (as repro) although it was actually a GM part (Cadillac) that we stamped. Long discontinued, but it was a twin to the original 458 pulley. I'm sure a lot of folks re-sold them as "real" ones. Steve D&R Classic Automotive

Hey Steve, Looking forward to seeing you again at Daytona.
I have a few of the Cadillac Deep grove pulleys here. They are just slightly smaller in diameter then the 458's. Can't really tell unless they are side by side.
