Bruce,
When I heard what the SCR9 auction was going to benefit this year I knew I had to do something, especially after losing my child. So I dug out the 2 Nickey catalogs I bought new and brought them. They couldn't have gone to a better cause.

It made me feel good. Kids are important!

Verne, thanks to you, and everyone else who either donated items and/or bid.

I think everyone felt good participating, knowing it was for such a good cause.

I know I had a good time, and even brought home a really neat 1969 Lemans Blue 427 Yenko Nova diecast. Had to out bid Charley for it, not for sure why he wanted it so bad.

Thanks Tom,
I think it was Charley who went to $340. for my yellow cover catalog.

By the way Charley, if there's a circle around an L-88 cam part number in there, I apologize. At least you know the catalog was used the way it was meant to be.

And let's not forget the superb job Joe did at the podium in raising over $3500. for that great cause. He pulled every last dollar out of everyone's pockets!!

Verne

PS: that auction was the most heart-warming experience I've had in a long time.
